Falmouth Exeter Plus – the shared services delivery partner of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter, who jointly manage the Penryn Campus – has appointed Tim Brooksbank as its new director of estates & capital projects.
As development director for the University of Nottingham, Brooksbank was previously responsible for the delivery of the first new veterinary school in the UK for over 40 years, a new medical school, a hotel and conference venue, and the transformation of a brownfield site into a new campus that has won numerous architectural and sustainability awards.
He said: “The opportunity to work with this pioneering partnership between the University of Exeter and Falmouth University provides an exciting challenge for the future, and I look forward to playing a key role in the on-going development of the Penryn Campus.”
Niamh Lamond, Falmouth Exeter Plus’s CEO, added: “We are delighted to welcome Tim to this key post, with his wealth of experience and partnership working, to strengthen how we support the global ambitions of our two university partners.”
Tim Brooksbank will take up his post in February 2014.
