The Driftwood Spars in St Agnes has appointed Angelo Bruno as head chef.
Bruno comes with a wealth of experience having previously worked for celebrity chef Aldo Zilli in London as well as more recently, Knightor Winery in St Austell.

“It’s steeped in history and tradition but with a really contemporary feel to it and this will be reflected in the menu.”
To make his mark and put The Driftwood back on the culinary map, Bruno is launching two new monthly themed nights on the first Friday of each month.
Louise Treseder, landlady for the Driftwood Spars, said: “We are really pleased to be able to bring Angelo to the pub.
“We are known for our relaxed atmosphere and great beer, I believe that Angelo is the missing piece of the jigsaw and will give our diners an unforgettable experience.”
