The West of England committee for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has appointed Firegrass Communications owner Shelley Fletcher-Bryant, as regional coordinator for Cornwall.
Fletcher-Bryant, an accredited PR Practitioner, has been a member of the CIPR since 2006 and a committee member since 2009.
She has held the role of regional coordinator for Devon and Cornwall for a number of years, but the new role for 2013 will focus just on Cornwall.
She explained: “I have been associated with the CIPR for a number of years and am incredibly passionate about ensuring the PR industry has high standards.
“It is very important to me that PRs in Cornwall can benefit from the support the CIPR can offer. Through my role as regional coordinator for Cornwall, I would welcome feedback from people working in PR, and those considering PR as a career choice, to get in touch and let me know what they would like from the CIPR in Cornwall.”
The CIPR is holding a breakfast event at the Eden Project on March 7 on making the most of PR campaign imagery.
