The Wadebridge & District Chamber of Commerce has elected a new committee.
Sarah Prosser, who runs local marketing and PR consultancy Zanzig, has been elected chair while IT consultant Adrian Jones has taken the role of vice chair.
Dominic Walford is now hon president, with Darren Rowe is hon secretary and Nicola Brooks has been elected treasurer.
“These are exciting times for Wadebridge,” said Prosser, “and as our town grows so does the business community and the individual needs of each.
“The chamber exists as a forum and provides an opportunity for everyone in business to help shape and secure the future of our town. We are also here to provide support and networking opportunities and these are areas that we are keen to develop this year.”
The Chamber is working on several new projects including a new website for the town, funded through the Portas Pilot Scheme, and The Camel River Festival, which takes place in August.
Local business interested in joining the Wadebridge chamber should email Sarah Prosser.
