Worldwide Financial Planning has added a new face to its team of IFAs.
Lynne Williams has joined the Truro and Wadebridge-based company after working as a financial planning manager at HSBC.
Williams began her career as a Saturday cashier in Alliance and Leicester in 1994, working her way through the roles of savings and banking advisor, mortgage adviser and branch manager, before moving to Bradford and Bingley in Redruth to become branch manager and then mortgage broker.
She said: “I’m really excited to be joining the IFA world at Worldwide. I enjoyed working at the bank, but found the products and services were increasingly restrictive.
“I also found that financial planners in banks are moved regularly, which makes it difficult for customers to build a relationship with the person looking after their investments.
“I now have the advantage of choosing from the whole market which will more much more beneficial for my clients.”
