The Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and Industry has formally announced Sue Hook as its new president.
The Sapience HR MD assumes the duties from Michelmores Solicitors partner Martin Follett.
Chamber chief executive paid tribute to Follett’s tenure, commenting: “Under Martin’s leadership the Chamber has been transformed. Thanks to his hard work we can look to a plan that has provided a growing membership, a stronger organisation and a higher profile than ever before.”
Hook added: “Martin has been a fantastic President. We have a good board and council in place and people who are passionate about Cornish businesses and representing Cornwall to the rest of the country.
“Thanks to the strong position that Martin has worked to put the Chamber in, I’m excited to be taking this forward.”
