Falmouth and Launceston-based chartered accountancy firm, Hodgsons, has appointed a new tax manager.
Simon Prior, who previously worked at a rival south west accountant, has specific interests in the building and hotel trades
He said: “There are many changes proposed for the construction industry regarding the tax status of many self employed construction workers. I am looking forward to sorting out any queries from clients working in this sector and would urge anyone who is unsure of how these changes might affect them to check the details.”
