A solicitor at Coodes in Penzance has been appointed as a trustee of Age Concern in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Louise Southwell, who specialises in wills, trusts and probate, has been working closely with the Cornish charity for several years.
She also leads the Coodes’ older people’s service, which launched earlier this year.
Southwell said: “I’m very proud to be associated with Age Concern in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. They do a tremendous amount of work to support older people and improve quality of life for seniors in the county.
“To join the board of trustees is a great honour, but will also support me in my day-to-day work and ensure I continue to deliver the best advice for my clients.”
