Penzance-based RLT Architects has taken on a new graduate from the Unlocking Cornish Potential (UCP) scheme.

Scott Matthews, who qualified as a chartered building surveyor, will assist the directors with increasing RLT’s national profile and client base.

Director Danny Cooper commented: “I heard about UCP through Business Link and thought the idea of support for Scott’s post, through training, mentoring and finance was fantastic.”

Only a few weeks into his project, Matthews has started to enjoy the benefits of working with UCP. He said: “I’ve found the project management training which UCP provided was really valuable, it has given me an insight into project management, which in turn gave me the confidence to get involved with larger projects.”
