Launceston-based chartered accountant Hodgsons has appointed a new partner.
Sarah Gay joined the company in October 1986 after leaving school and over the years has risen through the ranks, taking on various roles and seeing all aspects of client work.
Gray, who now specialises in the agricultural and charitable sectors, developed her career through on-the-job training, becoming a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants in 1995.
She said: ‘After developing my knowledge over the years, becoming a partner is a fantastic next step, which means new responsibilities including a greater involvement with our client’s and directly influencing the development of the business.
“All the staff at Hodgsons are involved in all aspects of the business and training opportunities are always available. It has been a fantastic place to work and I’m really proud of all that I have achieved.”
