Cornish social landlord Coastline Housing has appointed a new chief executive officer, who will be taking his place at the helm of the company on June 1.
Robert Nettleton will succeed Bjorn Howard who has led the company for over five years. He is currently group development and regeneration director of LHA-ASRA, a large and successful housing and regeneration group based in Leicester.
He has eight years senior level housing association experience in a wide range of business areas, and has worked at director level for the last four and a half years.
Dr John Lander, Chairman of Coastline Housing, said: “I am delighted that Robert has accepted our invitation to become our next Chief Executive Officer. After a rigorous selection process, he greatly impressed us with his vision, business knowledge and his total determination to improve the homes and the lives of those that Coastline seeks to serve. All of us look forward to working with Robert to continue the steady progress being made, and to expand our activities for the benefit of our customers.”
As Chief Executive Officer of Coastline, Nettleton will head an organisation which owns and maintains more than 3,500 homes across Kerrier, Carrick and Penwith, employs more than 190 staff locally and has an annual turnover of £16.5m.
