Concept Staffing has appointed a new divisional manager to help expand and develop the business.
Karen Sharpin, who joined the company as a recruitment consultant at the Taunton branch 11 years ago, will oversee all 15 of Concept’s branches in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Wilstshire.
She said: “I am passionate about what I do, and have clear goals that I want to achieve in the year ahead; ensuring that Concept Staffing continues to be the employer of choice, the best in its field and overall the leading South West recruitment agency.”
Concept has an annual turnover of £16 million and recently become part of the Acorn Group. Andrew Tugwell, Acorn’s operations director, said: “Karen has shown so much enthusiasm and clearly loves what she does. I am sure she will have no problems in achieving the goals she has set out as she knows the local business community so well.”
