Cornwall Solar Panels is in line for an accolade at the National Energy Efficiency & Retrofit Awards, which will be presented later this month.
The Newquay company has been shortlisted in the National Solar PV Installer of the Year category and MD, Tony Sampson, said: “Being shortlisted for a national award is amazing!
“Even if we don’t win, this is great recognition for the effort everyone in the team makes to ensure customers are delighted. It’s also great to bring recognition to the wider renewables community in Cornwall.”
Sampson has actively pursued his passion for renewables within the community. He sits on the advisory panel for Business Leaders for Low Carbon, is an advisor to the Cornwall Sustainable Building Trust and regularly delivers renewable technology and climate change presentations to educational establishments, businesses and at a variety of events.
The awards will be presented on September 16 at ceremony in Birmingham, hosted by Joanna Lumley and Dara O’Briain.
