Get Set For Growth, the business growth programme fully funded by the European Convergence Programme, is discovering new businesses with growth ambitions across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. At a key stakeholder event this week it was announced that 65% of Get Set For Growth clients have never accessed any type of European-funded business assistance before, highlighting the strong demand for the service.

We are delighted that clients engaging with business support for the first time are ambitious, diverse and innovative businesses who are welcoming our help in accessing money and markets. We are seeing jobs created, funding accessed and businesses gaining structure and skills. Our unique joint approach of marketing and finance strategy provided by highly experienced experts who have ‘been there and done it’ is proving to be a potent recipe for success.”
GetSet have a 100% success rate at securing finance for their clients, with over £520,000 raised since its launch November 2013, with another £1m+ in the pipeline. The programme is currently working with over 100 businesses of all sizes and ages, spread throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The Alverton event closed with the launch of the new Get Set KnowHow Community, starting with a mentoring service that will be enriched with sector experts, investors and non-exec directors over the coming months. GetSet KnowHow will build on the success of the GetSet programme by helping to continue the momentum and focus our clients achieve.
