Fees for early years learning at Truro High School have been significantly reduced to help parents take advantage of the education that the top performing independent school can offer children from Reception through to Year 2.

THS-.111120-039Means tested bursaries are also being introduced for Year 3 pupils from September 2014.  These will be extended to Years 4, 5 and 6 on an annual basis thereafter – ensuring that children whose parents might struggle to pay full fees from Year 3 upwards can continue in the school.

“There is no doubt that the current economic climate is delaying some parents putting their daughters into private education because the financial cost is just too great,” said Truro High Bursar Bryan Login.  “Instead of enrolling them during their formative early years, they are waiting until they are a little bit older which means we are seeing good pupil numbers from Year 3 on but relatively fewer numbers before that.  The fee reduction we are offering is substantial and will hopefully help more young girls benefit from the excellent teaching, wide-ranging extra-curricular activities and superb facilities that we can provide.”

From this September, a term’s fees for Reception will be £1500, £1650 for Prep 1 and £1800 for Prep 2.  For more information, including taster days, please call the school on 01872 272830.
