Businesses and residents in Cornwall are being urged to have their say about skills and jobs prospects in the Duchy.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has already attracted £2.5 million of Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF) cash to purchase equipment, provide new facilities, new courses and staff training.
In order to maximise further potential, the FSB is asking everyone in the county to simply answer a few questions by midnight on October 31.
FSB development manager and LSIP lead, Ann Vandermeulen, explained: “Considerable progress has already been established with many education and training providers, businesses, stakeholders and residents across our county to co-ordinate actions against the priorities that emerged from our initial consultation.
“However, truly meaningful implementation of the plan relies on the capturing the real-world perspective of all. So, as we take the plan forward, we still want to hear more from end users such as business owners/mangers, employees in the workplace or anyone currently actively seeking employment or re-employment so that we can make the best use of this opportunity to change many more lives for the better.”
Two separate surveys are being carried out – one for residents and one for businesses.
