Coodes Solicitors has again been recognised for its legal expertise in the Chambers and Partners guide 2025.

The 2025 edition features three of the firm’s departments and four lawyers, shining a spotlight on their expertise and commitment to client care.

The rural services team, clinical negligence team and commercial dispute resolution teams have been ranked this year, with the latter breaking into the guide for the first time in respect of real estate litigation.

The rural services team has improved its ranking to Band 2 for work on a wide range of agricultural matters and their specialism in advising local farmers and other landowners over several generations.

Head of rural services, Pam Johns, has been ranked for the 11th year in a row, with testimonials noting she “is an excellent lawyer with a broad depth of professional and local knowledge”.

Abi Lutey, head of commercial dispute resolution has been ranked for the second year, for her extensive knowledge base and her ability to offer clear advice and support when dealing with agricultural disputes.

The clinical negligence team has been ranked for the third year recognising the team’s expertise in a range of claims including delayed diagnosis, negligent surgery and birth injury.

Head of clinical negligence, Rachel Pearce, is ranked for the fifth year in a row, acknowledging her work on misdiagnosis and delay in treatment claims. The guide recognises her dedication, experience and that she “fights hard for all her clients”.

Julie Hatton, partner at Coodes on the clinical negligence team is ranked highly again for her work supporting clients on claims such as surgical errors and delayed diagnosis
