The Growth Hub is offering grant funding of up to £200k for the purchase of equipment or kit to advance your RD&I project.
If your business is introducing new ideas, processes, products or services, the Growth Hub grants can help you buy equipment so your business can grow – and any business or sole trader can apply.
Kirsty Miles-Musgrave, Growth Hub investment operations manager, said: “The types of grant projects we have funded previously included equipment to develop prototypes, testing machines for product development and software to speed up design.

Key Grant Details:
- Eligible Activities: Funding is specifically for capital purchases of kit or equipment.
- Match Funding: Businesses must provide at least 50% match funding.
- Project Completion: All projects must be completed by 31 December 2024.
- Cashflow Requirement: Businesses need to cashflow the project costs, as grants will be reimbursed retrospectively.
- Real Living Wage: Businesses must pay the Real Living Wage to all staff or commit to doing so by 31 December 2024.
