The Growth & Skills Hub is running a free webinar for businesses to find out more about the new £1.2 million Good Growth grant scheme. The grants are to increase productivity and create employment through green and inclusive growth.

A variety of grants are available, and businesses will need to provide a minimum of 50% match funding for their project and meet the costs upfront as the grants are claimed once the project is completed. Successful applicants will demonstrate how their projects are contributing to the Good Growth Principles which include environmental and inclusivity priorities.

Kirsty Miles-Musgrave operations manager for the Growth and Skills Hub said: “These grants are available to all businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, and we want to make sure as many people as possible understand the grant process and get an application in before the deadline on February 24.”

Visit the Growth & Skills Hub website to find out more about the grants and to sign up to the webinar this Wednesday (Feb 8). If you cannot join live you will receive a copy of the recording after the session.

The grants are funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund as part of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme. The aim is to realise the potential of businesses in the region and to make the economy more resilient, more equal and more prosperous.

The first round of applications will be open until 5pm on Friday February 24 and subsequent rounds will be subject to funding.
