Prima Bakeries has extended its shop in Scorrier, to meet increased demand.
MD, Mark Norton, said: “It’s no secret that the last few years have provided huge challenges, but also great opportunities. For us, the shop extension at Scorrier is very much a reflection of consumer demand – Prima sales grew by 25% in 2021, as well as growing staff headcount by 14%, despite continued Covid issues.
“We feel very proud of the team behind the scenes who’ve made this happen, and look forward to welcoming back existing customers, as well as new faces to the new-look, bigger store, which is over 70% bigger than before.
“Looking forward to the rest of 2022, we’re on track for another great year with sales already up 23% in January across the group and we hope to achieve 10% growth across the year.”
