As businesses experience a super cycle of problems, Kim Conchie of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce has assured them that the chamber has got their back.
“This is one of the most difficult times ever faced,” Conchie said. “Businesses are up against a perfect storm of problems; spiralling energy costs, rapid inflation, an end to rate relief, no more VAT reduction for hospitality businesses… and of course this is on top of a harrowing couple of years. It pains me to say it, but the coming months are going to be tough – but help is at hand. Cornwall Chamber of Commerce is businesses’ greatest ally.
“We can support and guide. We can signpost, connect and help with accessing grants. Our help is always discreet, off the record and because we know how busy everyone is, there are no annoying forms to fill in. It’s tough but we can make it less so. I urge businesses – however big or small – to lean us for support.”
