Truro and Penwith College Business is funding up to 80% of training costs to help leaders and managers upskill through its suite of ILM Leadership, Management and Coaching courses.

The nationally-recognised qualifications require learners to focus on delivering real workplace projects with the support of the college’s industry experts and coaches, a process that is expected to add value to the Cornish economy as many businesses seek to adapt operations amid recovery from Covid-19.

Significantly, the college is pledging support for key workers in the health and care sectors with funding available through its ESF Developing Leaders and RISE Projects. 80% funding is available for health and care workers from the public sector or an SME care provider and 50% for large employers and SMEs regardless of sector.

The training is available from levels 2 – 7 providing options for those in their first management or supervisory role, middle managers and those in senior leadership positions.

Funding can be used against all the College’s ILM Leadership and Management training with start dates from September 20 to January 21. Training will be delivered at Haven House Conference and Training Centre in Truro with restricted numbers to support social distancing. Most ILM courses are also available as part of the college’s new remote learning delivery offer.
