A new public relations agency has been launched in Cornwall.

Combining the talents of three independent communications professionals – Hayley Newnham, Lucy Jenner-Brown and Samantha Kirton – Newquay-based Hope Yard PR offers creative PR campaigns for businesses in the travel, fashion, events, and lifestyle sectors.

“Each of us has moved around and worked with a huge variety of businesses, from start-ups and designer-makers through to big brands,” explained Jenner-Brown.

“Once we started comparing case studies it was clear that we each have a commitment to authenticity and are dedicated to achieving real results for clients. We wanted to start an agency that was less smoke and mirrors and more about empathy with clients and media, good story-telling, and delivering campaigns that connect brands with people in meaningful ways.”

Newnham added: “Having worked out of the same space we already had real respect for each other as well as being friends. We came to the realisation that we would have even more to offer if we combined our expertise and industry know-how.”

The team met while working at The HoHouse creative space in Hope Yard, Newquay. “Our base is really important to the whole agency ethos,” said Kirton.

“Hope Yard is a really exciting hub for creatives, working on some amazing projects and clients: photographers, videographers, SEO experts, digital marketing specialists, web designers, and artists. There’s a huge pool of talent here and we love that we can tap into this for clients as and when required. First and foremost, we’re PR specialists but we can call on the team here as needed to maximise campaigns.”
