Rosemullion Distillery Seafarer's Gin

A new gin using foraged ingredients from the Cornish coastline has been launched.

Flavoured by locally-sourced samphire and three types of Cornish seaweed, Rosemullion Distillery’s Seafarer’s Gin is now available to purchase online and in select stores across the south west.

Andy Bradbury, co-founder of Rosemullion Distillery, said: “Those who are lucky enough to live in Cornwall, or have visited our beautiful coastline, will know what it’s like to walk along the beach or the coast path, taking in the refreshing sea air, and feeling the salty spray as the waves crash against the coastline.

“We’ve tried to encapsulate that feeling in our Seafarer’s Gin, so that our customers can experience a small piece of the Cornish coastline at home.”

Rosemullion Distillery, which is based on the Helford, was launched in 2019 by husband and wife team Andy and Liz Bradbury.

Between them, they have more than 45 years’ experience as industrial chemists, and started the distillery to combine their scientific knowledge and processes with a passion for quality spirits.

Rosemullion is one of a very small number of distilleries to create its own base spirit from scratch, rather than simply flavouring purchased industrial spirits.

In April 2019, four products were entered into the internationally recognised SIP Awards, held in California, where Rosemullion Distillery came away with gold awards for its Summer Gin and Harvest Gin, silver for its Gold Rum, and bronze for its Dry Gin.
