A new dental practice has opened in Saltash as part of an expansion which will see a Cornish community interest company provide dentistry for thousands of local people.
Smile Together is opening new centres and expanding the existing facilities of its Brighter Dental practices throughout 2018 and ploughing profits back into local communities.
Brighter Dental Saltash, based at Saltash Health Centre, is the first of three new facilities set to be launched this year in a bid to make dentistry more accessible to local people. The company estimates that thousands of people in Cornwall do not have access to a dentist.
Smile Together MD, Paul Critchley, said: “We have big plans to bring Brighter Dental to more patients, by investing in highly skilled staff and new facilities. We’re delighted to start in Saltash and will be formally launching new facilities in Penzance, Newquay and Bodmin in the coming months.
“We anticipate our expansion will offer accessible, cost effective and local dental care to over 10,000 people across Cornwall.”
