Two Cornish companies have been named to a league table of Britain’s fastest-growing SME exporters.

Published this weekend, the fourth annual Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s small and medium-sized private companies with the fastest-growing international sales.

In 64th place, with £2.9 million of international sales (£8.6 million total), is Launceston-based teddy bear wholesaler, Charlie Bears. Export sales grew 52% last year for the business, which exports half a million teddy bears a year to 37 countries worldwide.

Giftware wholesaler, Puckator, saw export sales lift 39% to £9.1 million (£14.8 million total) and is ranked in 92nd place. The business is based in Liskeard, but also has offices in Turin, Valencia and Xiamen.
