Acceleration Through Innovation has revealed details of a second Pop-up Innovation Centre in Cornwall.

Opening in January, the centre will be open in Launceston town centre for three months, providing an opportunity for growing small-medium enterprises to utilise the available meeting room space, wi-fi and engage with business innovation advisors in a one-to-one setting.

Acceleration Through Innovation is a £3 million ERDF-funded project led by the University of Plymouth in partnership with Cornwall Innovation. The project “drives a culture of innovation”, supporting businesses who are looking to adopt innovative processes or who have aspirations to bring a new product or service to the market.

Senior project manager, Jo Hancock, said: “We are really pleased to be bringing our second Pop-up Innovation Centre to Launceston following the success in Bodmin in the last quarter. We are looking forward to welcoming a series of engaging speakers over the next couple of months, with the first being Phil Ugalde – company chairman of Proper Cornish.”

The Pop-up Innovation Centre will be located in 2-4 Castle Street until the end of March, following the official opening on Thursday, January 11.
