Lexcel is specifically for the legal profession. It is an optional, recognised accreditation scheme for law firms and in-house legal teams which gives an assurance that the practice meets high client care and business management standards.

The independent assessor, who was making his assessment against a new version of the Lexcel standard, said of Peters Langsford Davies: “I am very pleased to be able to state that you have made a very good job of making the necessary adjustments (to meet the new standard) and, in one or two cases, have done so in an exemplary fashion.

“My file sample revealed a selection of very well managed and organised files that demonstrated what a good grasp your fee earners have both of the letter and the spirit of the standard. Well done.”

Peters Langsford Davies partner, Helen Davies, commented: “We are all extremely pleased with our Lexcel assessment. I am particularly delighted that the assessor recognised the way our team are achieving the standard set by Lexcel both in terms of delivery of services and client care and interaction.

“There is a lot of choice in the legal services market but being Lexcel accredited demonstrates our commitment to client care and best practice.”
