Nathan Outlaw and his team at Restaurant Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac are celebrating after being awarded a top score of 10 /10 for cooking in the Waitrose Good Food Guide 2017.
As a result, the restaurant also rises to become #2 in the Top 50 Restaurants in the UK.
“I’m ecstatic,” said Outlaw. “I can’t believe it. I’m so proud of my head chef, Chris Simpson, and all the team here who put in 110% each and every day.
“Their hard work and dedication means that we can consistently offer our guests the very best dining experience with food that is now deemed worthy of a perfect 10 in this prestigious guide. What’s even more exciting is that I know we can get even better!”
Nathan Outlaw’s cooking first featured in the Good Food Guide in 2004 and has risen up the rankings each year since then.
He added: “In celebrating this achievement, I have to mention my network of producers, all of whom are local to me in Cornwall. They are as passionate about what they do as I am, and without them I wouldn’t have the raw materials to use in my cooking.”
