Local accountancy firm, Lang Bennetts, has launched a free app to help users keep on top of their finances.
With a range of features that include calculators for everything from VAT, mortgages, payslips and capital gains tax to mileage and income trackers, share and fund prices plus other finance news, the app has “everything required to keep personal accounts on track”.
Anyone can download it from Google and Apple stores, making it easily accessible on mobile phones.
The company, which has offices in Falmouth and Truro, says it has had the app developed in recognition of a growing need to keep finances to hand and constantly up-to-date.
“We live in a fast-paced, electronic world and, as accountants, we know how important it is to use modern technology effectively,” said Lang Bennetts’ partner Helen Hood.
“Our new app helps keep everything in one place, whilst also providing handy links to accountancy software like Quickbooks, Xero, Sage One and Kashflow and also to our secure online portal Openspace.
“There’s a device for managing and saving receipts then emailing them as an expense claim, plenty of tax information and easy access to current market prices. The mileage tracker is a big plus too. In short, there is everything you need at the click of a button.”
