Cornwall-based renewable energy storage and management company Wattstor has announced a series of six free installer training sessions across the UK in January.

The six workshops will prepare installers for the survey and sales process, as well as providing guidance on the technical aspects of the actual installation.

“2016 is going to be a big year for us and it’s important to have a network of well-trained accredited installers nationwide who are ready and able to cope with the anticipated workload,” said Wattstor MD Michael Danes.

“Our market leading devices make the most of the free power generated from renewable sources like solar or wind, by storing electricity and turning equipment on and off when electricity is free or cheap and limiting the export of electricity back to the grid.

“There’s a rapidly growing demand for our technology and these sessions are an important way of managing that.”

The sessions will get underway at Tremough Innovation Centre in Penryn on January 7, before further dates in Reading, Leeds, Nottingham, Walsall and Bristol.
