The latest edition of a leading pub food guide has been published today, featuring four new Cornish entries.
The Michelin Eating Out In Pubs Guide 2016 recommends more than 590 pubs across the UK and Ireland, of which 60 are new additions.
In total, the guide feature ten Cornish pubs, four of which are new for 2016 – Victoria Inn, Perranuthnoe; Mariners, Rock; Springer Spaniel, Treburley; and the Ship Inn, Wadebridge.
“This is a carefully selected group of pubs, chosen for the standard of their cooking,” said editor, Rebecca Burr. “Each of them has been anonymously judged by our team of full-time inspectors, and we feel justly proud of them.”
Other Cornish pubs listed in the guide include: Coldstreamer, Gulval; Halestown Inn, Halestown; Tolcarne Inn, Newlyn; St Kew Inn, St Kew; Cornish Arm, St Merryn; Gurnard’s Head, Zennor.
