A group of regulation experts took time out from helping some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies for a healthy team building event.

Twelve members of TRAC Services and respective families spent the evening at Porthtowan beach taking part in rugby and rounders, finishing off with a game of 4-a-side football.

The evening was organised TRAC’s Healthy Workplace Team and Environmental and Social Contribution Team (EAST), with support from Cornwall Sports Partnership and Clean Cornwall.

Matthew Cotton, TRAC’s Healthy Workplace ‘Champion’ said: “We had a brilliant evening, with great support from the Cornwall Sports Partnership.

“They loaned the sports equipment to us for the evening ensuring the activities went ahead.

“Everyone really enjoyed the games and there was a lot of friendly competition from the team.”

As well as games, the team also organised a beach litter pick.

Kirsty Cotton, who is the lead of TRAC’s EAST team, said: “We contacted Clean Cornwall to arrange our beach clean and were supplied with litter pickers and bin bags.

“The team collected four bags of rubbish from the beach during the session, which Clean Cornwall then arranged to be collected.

“The team think it’s really important that Cornwall’s beaches are kept in pristine condition, so we were pleased to be able to do our bit.”
