Staff from accountancy firm, Bishop Fleming, will be taking to the roads this September for a 324-mile charity cycle event.
100 of Bishop Fleming’s 300 staff have already committed to supporting the event, which will visit all the firm’s offices in Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Truro, and Worcester. 75 of those staff members will be riding.
The ‘Tour of Bishop Fleming’ cycle event will be starting in Cornwall on September 8 and finishing in Worcester three days later, covering a total of 324 miles.
The event is being organised by the firm’s ‘Bright Future’ group of staff from each office, including the planning of the route, stewards, safety vehicles, and refreshment breaks.
Participants have the choice of doing the entire route, or just one leg between Bishop Fleming offices.
Every rider will be raising money for the charities chosen by each office, which in the case of the Truro branch is Children’s Hospice South West.
Bishop Fleming is hoping to raise £15k for its charities. To pledge your support, click here.
