Cornish independent financial advice firm, Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management, has expanded its team with the appointment of a new Finance Director. Rob Baylis has joined the company following a career as a chartered accountant.
Baylis will be based at the recently expanded St Ives office working as an independent financial adviser, with particular focus on developing the Penwith area.
Speaking about his new position, Baylis commented: “I’d been looking for a new challenge for quite some time but wanted to wait until the right opportunity came along.
I’ve known John Waldie, the Managing Director, a long time and I have a lot of trust and faith in the way he and the team are developing the company. They have a strong focus on bringing ethics to the financial services industry and given my background in renewable energy and strong beliefs in sustainability, this is something that is very important to me.”
Waldie added: “I am astounded by Rob’s abilities this early on as a financial advisor and I very much look forward to working together with him in the future.”
