Cornwall Wildlife Trust is once again partnering with Visit Cornwall to promote its ‘Wildlife Friendly Business Award’ category in the forthcoming Cornwall Tourism Awards 2015.
The trust’s award has been developed to give local businesses the opportunity to showcase their commitment to supporting, enhancing and promoting nature in Cornwall, for the enjoyment of their guests.
Keith Hambly-Staite, chairman of the trust’s marketing and fundraising committee, said: “The Cornwall Tourism Award showcases good practice and our category highlights the importance of businesses that make a significant contribution to protecting our environment and its wildlife. After all, our natural environment is the reason many people come to Cornwall in the first place.”
Last years’ Gold winner was Gwel an Mor, based in Portreath.
Tourism businesses who want to enter must register their interest by Friday (June 19), with a final deadline of June 26.
