A new web portal is set to help local businesses who want to work in the emerging marine renewable energy (MRE) sector.
The free portal provides businesses with mapping tools and reports that give an insight into the current status of the industry. It also signposts job seekers to further training that will support them entering the MRE jobs market.
Paul Holmes, marine renewable energy executive at Cornwall Marine Network (CMN), said: “We’re proud to be launching this web portal at a critical time for this emerging industry; it will specifically help Cornish businesses learn of opportunities around the globe to help boost exports, energising them to reach beyond our shores for work.”
