Agency helps make it a classic


A Falmouth classic boat event with a rich history and international flavour returns this weekend (June 12-14).


With new competitors from the continent, this year’s Falmouth Classics promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The event has steadily grown in recent years, thanks in no small part to media partner Eight Wire.

The design and marketing agency has focused on increasing the event’s media coverage since it took a new format and moved to a new slot in the calendar.

Henry Roberts, chairman of the Falmouth Classics Association, said: “We are delighted with the sponsorship package that we have received from Eight Wire.

“The event is growing in popularity each year with competitors traveling from far and wide to enjoy three days of classic boat racing and rallying around the Fal Estuary.”
