A pharmaceutical regulations expert from Townshend has enjoyed a double celebration after being recognised by her industry body and giving birth to her second daughter.
Sophie Brand, a regulatory affairs consultant at Pool Innovation Services based TRAC Services, has been named in the Top Team by TOPRA (The Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs).
She is part of TOPRA’s Continuing Regulatory Education and Development (CRED) team, and helped to organise the SmPC Package Leaflet and Label workshop in London.
The event featured speakers from the world of medicine and looked at packaging, leaflets and labelling of medicinal products.
The award, which was in recognition of an excellent team contribution, came two weeks after giving birth to her second daughter, Erica.
She said: “It’s been a busy few weeks with the family!
“Winning this award is an unexpected bonus.
“I really enjoy being part of the CRED team and it’s great to know that the work we did with the workshop had a benefit to other professionals in the industry.”
