The Business Collaboration Award was presented to Polgoon Orchard and Vineyard, while Boscastle Farm Shop and Café went home with The Truly Cornish Café Trail Award, for the second year running.

Other winners included Woodlands Country House B&B near Padstow, which took The Real Cornish Breakfast Award, and The Waymarker in Constantine, which was recognised with The Truly Cornish Clotted Cream Tea Award.

Penair School took the Public Sector Award for its “flair in creating school meals that are tasty and good value yet also make extensive use of Cornish ingredients”.

Ruth Huxley, director of Cornwall Food & Drink, which organised the event, said: “The Choose Cornish campaign is all about emphasising the value that can be generated when Cornish businesses work together, creating mutually beneficial opportunities and harnessing collective strength.

“The awards are a great way of highlighting the businesses that have adopted this ethos and are not only generating more value within the local economy but also improving its resilience and sustainability.”
