Falmouth coffee shop and deli, Picnic Cornwall, has reached the final of the Café Society’s Café Life Awards in the Independent Café/Coffee Bar of the Year category.
“We are totally blown away,” said owner Emma Douglas.
“There are only nine cafes/coffee shops in the finals across the UK and we are the only one from the south west.
“We have been told that we have had a secret shopper visit – they were very incognito as we definitely didn’t spot them!”
The winners will be announced at the Café Life Awards Dinner hosted by celebrity chef Aldo Zilli on Tuesday September 23 at the Emirates Stadium, London.
