Meanwhile, the second Truly Cornish Café Trail has been launched.
Featuring a comprehensive list of over 40 independent cafes from Land’s End to Launceston – all of whom pride themselves on sourcing their products and ingredients locally – the Truly Cornish Café Trail aims to be the definitive guide for anyone out and about in the Duchy this summer.
The Trail can be picked up at various local attractions and eateries across the south west, or downloaded from the Choose Cornish website.
Thanks to support from Trewithen Dairy, this year’s Trail features a guide to which outlets serve a “truly splendid Cornish Clotted Cream Tea”.
Trewithen’s commercial director, Francis Clarke, said: “Our family business is very proud of our Cornish heritage and devoted to upholding high standards. We’re also truly passionate about the Cornish clotted cream tea, and are therefore pleased to support this initiative of Cornwall Food & Drink.”
