From next year, harbour users in Falmouth will be able to apply to the mooring waiting list through a new online system.
The method will allow new customers to complete the required registration form and application letter online and view all the associated conditions with mooring a vessel in Falmouth Harbour.
Applications and requests to be added to the Falmouth Harbour mooring waiting list will now be accepted year round; historically applications were only accepted on one dedicated day per annum.
Commenting on the launch of the new web service, Barry Buist, leisure services manager at Falmouth Harbour Commissioners, said: “The new system should seamlessly allow leisure users wishing to moor a vessel in Falmouth Harbour to apply to the waiting list online.
“We’ll continue to accept handwritten applications but want to be able to offer leisure users more flexibility as to when they want to apply for a mooring rather than restricting it to one day per year.”
The new dedicated web page will go live on Saturday February 1.
