Ocean Services is offering free technical surveys to help householders in Cornwall ensure their homes are energy efficient.
According to statistics, one in five households in Cornwall lives in fuel poverty. And with winter fast approaching, Ocean says it is more important than ever that those homeowners take measures to prevent heat escaping.
And to help them do that, the company, a certified Green Deal installer, is offering free surveys to people who contact them before the end of October.
The Green Deal is an initiative from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to provide householders with finance to install various energy saving measures in their homes.
