A new guide to some of the finest food on the Isles of Scilly has been launched.
The Little Scilly Food Guide, created by the Isles of Scilly Farmers’ and Growers’ Initiative, lists 53 businesses on the islands, from honesty boxes to gourmet restaurants.
Speaking at the launch at Juliet’s Garden on St Mary’s, Issy Tibbs, who created the guide as part of her role as Food and Drink Champion for the Initiative, told guests how proud the Islands could be of their food.
She said: “Putting the directory together has shown just how many amazing and different things there are going on within the Scilly food scene compared to a few years ago and collating it all into one guide makes it easy for people to find great places to shop and eat.”
The publication is available throughout the islands and will also be turned into an online guide.
