Coodes Solicitors, which has seven offices in Cornwall and Devon, raised the money after holding a series of events during the last 12 months.

Managing partner, Jeremy Harvey, took up the biggest challenge by completing his first skydive.

He said: “The hard work that the team across all seven offices put in to raising the money for Childrens’ Hospice was magnificent.

“Everyone in the company got involved and helped us achieve such a fantastic target.

“The skydive was a big personal challenge for me, but we held a range of events including cake and book sales, as well as a family fun day at St Mewan Community Primary School in St Austell.”

The money will be used at Little Harbour, one of the charity’s Children’s Hospices based in St Austell, to support families in Cornwall, Plymouth and parts of South Devon with children with life limiting conditions.
