A Cornish law firm has launched a new range of support to provide peace of mind to the region’s employers.
Coodes Solicitors has unveiled its Coodes HR Plus packages.
The monthly fixed-fee products have been designed to provide support, protection and insurance for businesses should an employment issue arise or a claim be made.
Over 185,000 claims were accepted by employment tribunals during 2011/12, according to figures released by the Ministry of Justice.
Coodes’ partner and employment specialist, Peter Lamble, said:“The latest figures show that as of December 31, 2012, there were over 830,000 tribunal cases awaiting resolution.
“A business only needs one employee for an issue to arise. With the right support, problems can be resolved without a great deal of expense.
“If a claim is made to a tribunal then this can take valuable business time and create a great deal of tension and concern.
“This can have an impact on the day to day focus of the business, which is otherwise successful in what it does.”
