Fantastic opportunity to join Newquay-based company as its Marketing Director. Working very closely with the MD, the role of Marketing Director requires you to deliver growth targets within budget whilst remaining true to the brand. Key duties will include:
- The on-going development and management of marketing strategies to deliver business KPI’s
- Strategic lead in the development of the marketing mix ensuring best return on the marketing budget across print / digital / advertising
- Rigorous review of business performance in terms of marketing results, the evaluation of customer response and the recommendation of appropriate action plans
- Effective client manager providing clear direction and evaluation of performance to the marketing partnerships (Agencies)
- The delivery of strategies that are synergistic to the brand position and customer needs whilst ensuring alignment with agreed KPI’s
- Providing a marketing viewpoint at a senior level working closely with the finance and product team
This Marketing Director role requires a passionate, inspirational leader to build a long term marketing strategy that challenges the status quo and delivers success and results. You will be able to demonstrate the following attributes and skills:
- Experienced marketing professional with a proven track record in delivering direct marketing campaigns
- Experience in 3rd party agency management with proven results of managing these relationships effectively
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience of working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial retail environment with competing deadlines and priorities
- Highly organised and exceptional planning capabilities
