Local landlord Coastline Housing has been ranked by the Sunday Times Best Companies as one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for nationally.

Redruth-based Coastline Housing, which manages over 3,900 homes and employs some 250 staff, has made it onto the national list for the first time this year, after being awarded ‘one to watch’ status in 2012.

Chief executive, Robert Nettleton, said: “I am absolutely delighted that Coastline has been awarded a presence in this list. The fact that we appear is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, involved customers, and stakeholders, all of whom help us make a real difference in local communities on a daily basis.”

The Sunday Times Best Companies and Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work for lists have been derived from entries of 896 organisations.

They surveyed over 240,000 employees and carried out an evaluation of each organisation’s key statistics, processes and policies.

Coastline’s success was featured in the Sunday Times Best Companies supplement at the weekend.
