Successful and expanding engineering firm require a Mechanical/CAD Design Engineer to work within a small team of designers.
The role will require the use of Solidworks 3D CAD software producing concept designs right through to production drawings for both one off designs and for volume production units.
The role will also include liaising with the customer on the requirements and initial concept designs to producing the final production drawings, technical files and manuals.
Applicants will need to be competent in the use of Solidworks and have a good practical knowledge of mechanical equipment.
A creative thinker would be useful.
